![]() ![]() Overall, Southeastern Illinois saw temperature departures averaging one to three degrees above normal, while much of Central Illinois was near the long term average, and a larger region in the vicinity of Northwest Illinois saw temperature departures averaging two to five degrees below normal. In February, the departure gradients tended to align in a southwest to northeast fashion, following the larger scale storm tracks.
